Job Summary
Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions, enabling the production of chips and advanced displays. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify technology-driven solutions, enhance processes, and streamline operations. Key responsibilities include designing and deploying Business Intelligence solutions using tools like Power BI and Tableau, managing data quality and governance, and developing robust Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions with platforms such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate to reduce manual effort and drive continuous improvement.
Must Have
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify opportunities for technology-driven solutions to enhance and streamline processes.
- Design and develop applications for data collection, cleansing, and transformation.
- Design, develop, and deploy Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server BI tools, Snowflake, SAP Hana, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Provide expert guidance on data modeling and data management practices.
- Develop and implement business processes to strengthen data quality and optimize efficiency.
- Configure and administer deployed workspaces and published applications.
- Identify and analyze business processes for automation opportunities.
- Design, develop, and deploy robust RPA solutions using UiPath RPA, Microsoft Power Automate, and Automation Anywhere.
- Maintain and monitor RPA solution performance for data quality and compliance.
- Provide training and support to end-users for BI and RPA tools, and create user-guide documentation.

Business Intelligence and RPA Analyst
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and acceptance criteria, anticipate future business needs, and identify opportunities for technology-driven solutions that enhance and streamline processes
Business Intelligence
- Data Collection: Design and develop applications to collect, cleanse and transforms diverse datasets into actionable insights to drive structured data drive communication.
- Reporting and Visualization: Design, develop and deploy Business Intelligence solutions, using Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence tools, Snowflake, SAP Hana / Business Objects, Power BI and Tableau.
- Data Modeling and Governance: Provide expert guidance on data modeling and data management practices to ensure accuracy, scalability, and consistency.
- Develop and implement business processes that strengthen data quality, optimize efficiency across data modeling and management workflows, and ensure full compliance with governance standards.
- Administration and Training: Configure and administer deployed workspaces and published apps, including managing structure, roles, and access permissions.
- Provide training and support to end-users and create user-guide documentation.
Robotics Process Automation:
- Business Process Understanding: Identify and analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and create Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that align with organizational goals to reduce manual effort.
- Solution Development and Governance: Design, develop and deploy robust RPA solutions using platform like UiPath RPA, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere etc., ensuring adherence to best practices and standards while optimizing performance.
- Maintain and monitor RPA solution performance for data quality and compliance with governance standards.
- Continuous Improvement and Training: Identify areas of improvements in existing automation solution to align with business needs and staying updated with RPA trends.
- Provide training and support to the teams leverage RPA tool and create user-guidance.
