C++ Senior Engineer - Video Systems

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced C++ Senior Engineer for the Avigilon Unity Video organization in Krakow. This role involves end-to-end implementation and maintenance of ACC Video Management System components, focusing on advanced video and analytics capabilities for public safety and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have strong modern C++ experience, practical knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design, and a collaborative spirit to help build a safer future through critical communications and video security technologies.

Must Have

• Strong experience in modern C++ at Mid or Senior level
• Practical knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software design
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including testing and build environments
• Good interpersonal communication skills, team spirit and adaptability
• English language skills at level allowing efficient communication

Good to Have

• Knowledge of operating systems concepts including processes, threads, mutexes, and exception handling
• Network programming
• C#/ .NET programming skills

Avigilon Unity Video organization in Krakow R&D center has been growing dynamically since 2020. Currently, we have over 60 specialists on board working on video management systems.

We bring advanced video and analytics capabilities to public safety and commercial customers including healthcare, airports, retail, critical infrastructure and public venues. Video is no longer reactive – looking back at what has taken place – but it also informs proactively, issuing alerts in real-time when a person, object or vehicle appears or a perimeter is crossed. Job Description

The Krakow Avigilon Control Center (ACC) team is looking for experienced C++ engineers. You will join the team of architects, developers & testers, with shared responsibilities. By joining the team you will be responsible for an end to end implementation and maintenance of ACC Video Management System components. We are looking for an open-minded person willing to pursue their ideas, evaluate alternatives and cooperate.

Basic Requirements
