Job Summary
This position is responsible for Civil engineering design, analysis, and calculations for large or high complex site/area development projects that require advanced technical specialty (hydrology/hydraulic) within Civil Engineering function with no supervision. The role involves serving as a technical expert in civil engineering design for a theme park, organizing project design criteria, providing technical direction to engineers and consultants, monitoring progress, ensuring quality, and conforming to standards. It also includes becoming familiar with WDI design standards, answering construction bid questions, and resolving field issues.
Must Have
- Professional engineer registration in Public Utility Engineering (Water Supply and Drainage)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Environmental / Water Engineering from an accredited school
- Minimum of 10 years of design experience in Civil / Environmental / Water engineering
- Experience in municipal infrastructure design (roads, utilities, drainage)
- Relevant design experience in environmental landscape, site formation, drainage and underground utilities coordination
- Experience in the construction phase with submittal/shop drawing review process and on-site field inspections
- Experience in Statutory submissions and liaison with Government departments
- Engineering design and analysis experience in drainage, grading design, underground utilities and site formation design
- Broad knowledge of civil engineering discipline, industry practices, construction methods and materials, codes, current technology, and contract documents
- Broad knowledge of CAD, Civil 3D design technology, and BIM technology (Revit)
- Ability to work independently with minor supervision
- Experience in managing engineering consultants in design delivery
- Ability to collaborate with a team of various discipline engineers and designers
- Strong written and oral communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for Civil engineering design, analysis, and calculations for large or high complex site/area development projects that require advanced technical specialty (hydrology/hydraulic) within Civil Engineering function with no supervision.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a technical expert in civil engineering design of a theme park. Responsible for civil engineering designs, analyses, and calculations for site development projects of varying complexity.
- Organize and develop project design criteria, engineering design estimate, basis of design and engineering work plans.
- Provide administrative and technical direction to in-house engineers and designers, and to outside consultants in the production of construction contract documents.
- Monitor progress of work and ensure that technical quality, interdisciplinary coordination and production requirements are met.
- Monitor performance against the project design schedule, budget and earned value.
- Ensure conformance to department standards, procedures, and specifications. Perform peer reviews of work products of other department staff.
- Become completely familiar with related WDI design standards and be able to edit civil sections to WDI master specifications.
- Answer construction bid period questions and respond to and resolve field issues as required.
What To Bring:
- Professional engineer registration in Public Utility Engineering (Water Supply and Drainage).
- Graduate of an accredited school of Engineering, with a Bachelor of Civil / Environmental / Water Engineering Advanced degree in the field of Civil / Environmental / Water engineering is desirable.
- Experience in municipal infrastructure design (roads, utilities, drainage). Candidates with work experience at related municipal design institute is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of design experience in Civil / Environmental / Water engineering, with experience in the production and use of design drawings and specifications for major municipal infrastructure, commercial or industrial projects.
- Relevant design experience in environmental landscape, site formation, drainage and underground utilities coordination.
- Experienced in the construction phase with submittal/shop drawing review process and on-site field inspections.
- Experience in Statutory submissions and liaison with Government departments.
TECHNICAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS:

Broad knowledge of CAD and Civil 3D design technology and BIM technology (Revit) .
- Ability to work independently with minor supervision, and to thrive in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline project team environment.
- Experienced in managing engineering consultants in design delivery.
- Ability to collaborate with a team of various discipline engineers and designers in the production of construction documents for complex projects through all phases of design.

JOB SPECIFIC SCOPE POTENTIAL:
Project Scope: Responsible for the Civil design in Area Development and/or management of local design institute/consultants in multiple projects
