Plan A Technologies is looking for a specialized Cloud Security Engineer to establish and manage best practices across our extensive and complex cloud environment. You will act as a security subject matter expert, partnering with multiple product teams to ensure all solutions are "secure by default".

Please note: you must have at least 7+ years of IT Security experience, with at least 4+ years specifically focused on Cloud Security Architecture to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Best Practice Management: Design and implement cloud security frameworks guided by CIS Benchmarks.
• Tooling Oversight: Manage and optimize our primary security stack, specifically Wiz (Advanced and Defend) and CrowdStrike.
• Cross-Functional Security: Collaborate with business units to integrate security controls into their design phase.
• Workload Security: Utilize Kubernetes experience to secure containerized environments.

EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of IT Security experience with at least 4+ years specifically focused on Cloud Security Architecture.
• Cloud Platform Mastery: Deep hands-on experience in AWS (Primary) with secondary proficiency in Azure and GCP.
• Wiz Power User: 2+ years of experience managing Wiz (Advanced and Defend) to guide best practices and environment defense.
• Container Security: 3+ years of experience securing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Framework Implementation: Proven track record of applying CIS Benchmarks to complex cloud infrastructures.
• Endpoint/Cloud Integration: Experience using CrowdStrike to secure cloud environments.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
