Job Summary

Blue Yonder plans to migrate its non-cognitive install base to cognitive equivalency over the next 3 years. The Journey to Cognitive Cloud (JCC) team identifies qualified on-prem customers to advise on the value of cognitive solutions. The Cognitive Value Advisor (CVA) supports the JCC team during manufacturing customer deal pursuits, conducting discovery workshops, playback demonstrations, and detailed analysis of current and future states. The CVA partners with TCO and Delivery Factory/Services Sales teams to validate migration costs, time to value, and proposals, requiring domain expertise in Manufacturing Planning, WMS, or TMS.

Must Have

  • Analyze customer’s current business functions, legacy solutions, processes, and KPIs
  • Lead workshops and detailed playback demonstrations
  • Assess customer’s current extensions and customizations
  • Demonstrate configured cognitive solutions using customer migration data
  • Partner with TCO and Delivery Factory/Services Sales teams
  • 10+ years total work experience with 5+ years in supply chain, consulting, advisory, or pre-sales
  • Domain expertise in Manufacturing Planning, WMS, or TMS
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Experience with SaaS/cloud migrations

Job Description

Overview

Over the next 3 years, Blue Yonder plans to migrate our current install base with a non-cognitive Blue Yonder footprint to Blue Yonder’s cognitive equivalency. The Journey to Cognitive Cloud (JCC) team will identify qualified on-prem, non-cognitive customers and take them on a journey selling and advising on the value of our cognitive solutions.

Scope

The Cognitive Value Advisor (CVA) supports the JCC team of Strategic Migration Specialist’s (SMS) during manufacturing customer deal pursuits. The CVA will conduct discovery workshops, playback demonstrations along with a detailed analysis of the prospects current state and proposed future state. The CVA will partner closely with True Cost of Ownership (TCO) team and Delivery Factory/Services Sales teams to develop scope to validate migration costs, time to value and SaaS and Services proposals. This CVA role requires a domain-rich product expert specific to Manufacturing Planning, WMS or TMS.

What you will do

  • Analyzes customer’s current business functions, legacy solutions, business processes and KPI’s supported.
  • Leads workshops as well as configure and lead customers through detailed playback demonstrations to show current business functions being delivered via cognitive solution.
  • Assess customer’s current extensions and customizations.
  • Demonstrates in configured cognitive solution using customer migration data, to gain alignment and approval to move forward by becoming a trusted advisor on business process and Cognitive Equivalence.
  • Partner closely with TCO and Delivery Factory/Services Sales teams.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of total work experience with 5+ years of experience in supply chain, consulting, advisory or pre-sales roles involving manufacturing planning, logistics and execution platforms
  • Domain expertise in Manufacturing Planning, WMS or TMS.
  • Deep functional understanding of Blue Yonder on prem solutions and capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Experience with SaaS/cloud migrations.

The salary range for this position is $152,311.00 to $170,689.00 USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
