Job Summary
The Communication System Architect will be responsible for deploying aeronautical connectivity in military communications. This involves working on a solution to discreetly interconnect future airborne platforms in challenging environments. Key tasks include capturing operational needs, defining system architecture, identifying technical roadblocks, establishing technical specifications for sub-assemblies, and leading co-engineering sessions with various stakeholders.
Must Have
- Participate in the capture and formalization of operational needs.
- Decline operational concepts to meet requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical roadblocks.

- Establish technical specifications for sub-assemblies.
- Contribute to the justification of chosen architectures against contractual requirements.

WHO ARE YOU?
- With an Engineer/Bac+5 degree, do you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in System Architecture or System Engineering?
What you know/can do:
- In-depth knowledge of radio communications (RF, waveform, signal processing) and networks,
- Ability to consider a system globally: Architecture description, system analysis, evaluation and optimization techniques

WHAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER:
Within the Radio Engineering and Solutions (IRS) Competence Center, you will participate in the deployment of aeronautical connectivity in the field of military communications.
You will act as a System Architect on a solution intended to discreetly interconnect tomorrow's airborne platforms in a non-permissive environment.
Within a System Engineering team composed of 5 collaborators including a reference Architect, you will:
- Participate in the capture of operational needs and their formalization,
- Decline operational concepts to meet them,
- Identify technical roadblocks and the means to overcome them,
- Define the System architecture,
- Establish the technical specifications of the sub-assemblies and contribute to the justification of the chosen architectures with regard to contractual requirements,
- Lead co-engineering sessions with the managers of the solution elements and the different disciplines, as well as with the platform manufacturer.
