Data Analyst Intern

Appier is seeking a Data Analyst Intern in Taiwan to join a product R&D team. This role involves performing data analysis to answer business and operational questions. Responsibilities include interpreting data trends using statistical and visualization tools, conducting data analysis reports, monitoring and diagnosing systems with scientists and engineers, and developing tools to optimize analysis efficiency and report quality. Candidates should commit 2-3 days a week for a minimum of 6 months.

Must Have

• Interpret trends or patterns from complex data sets using statistical and visualization tools
• Conduct data analysis reports to illustrate results and insights
• Work with scientists and engineers to monitor and diagnose systems
• Develop tools and systems that optimize analysis process efficiency and report quality
• Senior students in college or graduate students in related field
• Good analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from data
• Good ability to communicate data analysis insight to audiences with different backgrounds
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
• Statistics knowledge and skills
• Using SQL to do basic data extraction and aggregation
• Spreadsheet/Excel
• Sufficient know-how of machine learning and basic experience of using machine learning tools
• Can write Python scripts for simple job automation

Good to Have

• Working experiences in digital advertising industries
• Hands-on experience in utilizing analytic/visualization tools (SQL, R, Tableau)
• Advanced Python programming (e.g., able to do complex analysis using Python)
• Experience in writing Spark programs for data analysis
