Data Engineer Intern

Level Infinite, Tencent’s global gaming brand, is seeking a Data Engineer Intern. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining gaming data platforms and pipelines for real-time and batch processing, as well as optimizing ETL/ELT processes for high-volume gaming data streams. The intern will contribute to delivering engaging gaming experiences to a worldwide audience and supporting development teams.

Must Have

• Design, develop, and maintain gaming data platforms and pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
• Optimize ETL/ELT processes for high-volume gaming data streams.
• Strong programming foundation with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with relational and distributed database systems.

Good to Have

• Experience with popular cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Passion for the gaming industry.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to strive in a high-paced and dynamic working environment.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese.

• Familiarity with big data ecosystems (Spark/Flink/Kafka) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
