About the Role & Program
Do you want to help redefine the future of media and entertainment by supporting the Disney Branded Television Casting team in both Live-Action and TV Animation, being a part of talent ideas and outreach for creative storytelling? Join us for the opportunity to join The Disney Branded Television Casting team as an intern. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, curious, embraces innovation, and has a strong desire to learn, grow, and help drive diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities around market, culture, and people. The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through December 2025. If selected for this internship, you will report directly to Director, Casting. A cover letter indicating your interest in the Disney Branded Television Casting Intern, Summer/Fall 2025 position is required.

What You Will Do
You will help support the Casting team in both Live-Action and TV Animation projects. You will familiarize yourself with our shows, research actors, update reports, compile memos, and support various talent initiatives and outreach. In addition, you will also handle some basic administrative duties of light desk and phone coverage. You will be encouraged to join meetings and share talent ideas.
You will also assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of the Casting department:
Become a member of a smart, fun, and collaborative team.
Assist the department in identifying and casting emerging talent.
Help find new and creative ways to work together with an eye toward quality and efficiency.
Your role may include:
Opportunity to learn about internal and external industry colleagues through light desk and phone coverage.
Liaising with talent representatives regarding actor availability and material for casting consideration.
Assisting in compiling grids/charts, documents, memos and scheduling.
Research actors and brands/current trends.
Handle confidential and other sensitive information.
Providing support with basic editing for demo reels and other items.
Supporting various talent initiatives and outreach such as Actor Workshops, and local shows/events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A background working with both Mac and PC operating systems
A strong curiosity in Television and the Entertainment Industry
Strong organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail while balancing multiple projects at once
Exceptional verbal, written (spelling, punctuation, grammar) and interpersonal communication skills– collaboration skills are important
Ability to handle confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in entertainment and casting
Familiarity with online short-form media and like genres
Experience using iMovie/iDVD/Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere
Experience with FileMaker Pro, QwireCast, Canva
Education
Junior or Senior year preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through December 2025
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, California area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
