Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Cloud Inference Software Developer to develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines for software module builds and SDK bundling. The role involves implementing strategies for cross-dependency resolution, maintaining internal web pages for builds and code coverage, and managing branching strategies. The developer will also integrate code coverage tools, develop performance measurement tools for ML models, and maintain automation frameworks. This position requires managing CI infrastructure and supporting development teams with repository and release needs.

Must Have

• Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines for software module builds and SDK bundling.
• Develop and implement strategies to resolve cross dependencies across various software modules.
• Develop and maintain internal web page for all builds and code coverage.
• Implement branching strategy, module and SDK tags.
• Support development team for CI needs like repo creation, branching for release, resolving dependencies.
• Integrate various code coverage tools like Klockwork, Parasoft in CI.
• Develop and maintain tools for Performance measurement of ML models with various frameworks.
• Develop and Maintain Automation Framework to enable teams to execute test cases.
• Manage Infrastructure of Build Servers, Target Machines and Storage required for CI need.
• 3+ years in CI, Test or Software Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience with Programming Language such as Python, Shell Script.
• Experience in source control management like Git, Gerrit and Perforce.
• Experience of working with Code coverage tools like Klockwork, Parasoft.
• Strong experience of automating workflows using Python.
• Experience in designing REST interfaces using Django.
• Experience in scripting languages like Python/Groovy.
• Experience in shell scripting and Windows batch commands.
• Know-how of database schema and SQL.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
