The AAES department located at NXP-Caen develops digital or mixed digital-analog integrated circuits for various markets including IoT and automotive.
The proposed internship will last 6 months starting from February 2026 and is aimed at final-year engineering school or university students.
The internship will focus on the design of signal processing Verilog modules, which will be ported to an FPGA platform. This will be done in an environment mainly composed of a microcontroller and its peripherals. More specifically, it will involve creating a calculation coprocessor for ARM M33. This will require, in addition to hardware work, the development of low-level software.
