Job Summary
As an Enterprise Architect – Strategic Alliances (APJ) at Veeam, you will integrate Veeam technology into the service portfolios of Global System Integrators (GSIs) and strategic partners across Asia Pacific & Japan. This role focuses on enabling GSI partners to sell, design, implement, and support Veeam solutions at scale for mid-market and large enterprise customers, ensuring Veeam becomes a core component of partner service offerings and building long-term joint success.
Must Have
- Extensive IT architecture and proven solution delivery experience
- Deep expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR), cyber resilience and cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven record of enabling or delivering large-scale enterprise transformation projects
- Strong knowledge of networking, compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, etc.), and IT governance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills—able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
- Background in professional services, consulting, or enterprise architecture roles with direct partner/customer engagement
Good to Have
- ToGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
- NIST, ISO 27001 and SABSA certifications
- Veeam VMCE certification
- Cloud & virtualization certifications (AWS/Azure Architect, VMware VCP)
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP)
- Automation/scripting experience (PowerShell, Python)

About the Role
As Enterprise Architect – Strategic Alliances (APJ), you will play a pivotal role in embedding Veeam technology into the service portfolios, technology stacks, and Centers of Excellence of leading Global System Integrators (GSIs) and strategic partners across Asia Pacific & Japan.
This position goes beyond direct solution delivery—it focuses on enabling our GSI partners to sell, design, implement, and support Veeam solutions at scale for mid-market and large enterprise customers. By aligning with GSI partner account teams, you will ensure Veeam becomes a core component of partner service offerings, building long-term joint success.
What You’ll Do
Partner & Solution Enablement
- Support GSI Partner Account Managers in Sell In, Sell With and Sell Through motions, demonstrating how Veeam complements and extends GSI technology stacks.
- Embed Veeam capabilities into GSI service catalogs, reference architectures, and solution blueprints.
- Drive the development of Centers of Excellence / Competency Centers within GSIs to ensure consistent, repeatable delivery models.
- Ensure GSI readiness to deliver, expand, and support Veeam-powered services across enterprise accounts.
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Conduct joint technical discovery with GSIs to align Veeam with their platforms, IP, and delivery frameworks.
- Co-design joint solution architectures that combine Veeam with partner cloud, security, and application services.
- Create reusable reference architectures, design patterns, and service frameworks to accelerate adoption across the GSI ecosystem.
- Provide technical oversight and best-practice guidance for proof-of-concepts (PoCs), workshops, and early deployments.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the trusted technical advisor to both GSIs and internal Veeam stakeholders, bridging business strategy with technical execution.
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Product teams to ensure seamless alignment from solution design to partner delivery.
- Support joint go-to-market activities with GSIs by contributing technical content, workshops, and enablement sessions.
Continuous Innovation
- Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., containers, cyber-resilience frameworks, hybrid cloud) for integration into GSI offerings.
- Contribute to Veeam’s best practices, standards, and partner enablement assets to ensure scalability and consistency across APJ.
- Champion automation, repeatable frameworks, and delivery accelerators to enhance partner efficiency.
