Job Summary
Daily Wire is seeking an Executive Vice President of Business Development to lead strategic deal-making and unlock growth through content and library acquisitions, high-impact partnerships, and new commercial ventures. This role serves as the company’s senior architect of business development strategy, expanding the content portfolio, distribution footprint, and overall market position. Partnering closely with executive leadership, the EVP of Business Development owns the full lifecycle of business development initiatives—from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to negotiating and closing complex deals. This leader ensures all transactions are executed with rigorous financial discipline, operational foresight, and alignment with Daily Wire’s mission and long-term growth objectives across the conservative and broader media landscape.
Must Have
- Lead business development strategy for acquisitions, licensing, partnerships, and new revenue.
- Identify and evaluate high-impact opportunities across media content.

- Extensive senior-level experience in business development or content acquisition.
- Proven expertise in negotiating and structuring high-value, multi-party deals.
- Strong financial acumen, including valuation and deal modeling.
- Exceptional strategic judgment to assess opportunities and risks.
- Proven cross-functional leadership with strong project management and communication.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Partnering closely with executive leadership, the EVP of Business Development owns the full lifecycle of business development initiatives—from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to negotiating and closing complex deals. This leader ensures all transactions are executed with rigorous financial discipline, operational foresight, and alignment with the mission and long-term growth objectives across the conservative and broader media landscape.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s business development strategy, setting the long-term roadmap for acquisitions, licensing, partnerships, and new revenue initiatives that drive growth and market expansion.
- Identify and evaluate high-impact opportunities across content libraries, film and TV rights, kids and family programming, podcasts, and emerging media categories.
- Partner with the C-suite and senior leadership to align deal-making with company strategy, brand values, and commercial performance goals.
- Establish scalable frameworks for assessing creative, financial, technical, and brand considerations across potential acquisitions and partnerships.
- Direct negotiation and execution of complex transactions, including acquisitions, licensing agreements, co-productions, joint ventures, distribution deals, and brand partnerships.
- Structure deals with strong financial discipline, long-term rights protection, regulatory awareness, and alignment with company risk thresholds.
- Collaborate with Legal and Finance to oversee transaction structures, term sheets, and final agreements with discretion and sound judgment.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Content, Finance, Legal, Technology, Marketing, and Consumer Products to ensure effective integration and monetization of acquired assets.
- Guide integration planning so new content and partnerships support distribution, monetization, and franchise development strategies.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with creators, rights holders, studios, distributors, talent representatives, and strategic partners, representing the company in key industry settings.
Experience & Requirements
- Background in Business Administration, Finance, Media, Accounting, Law, or a related field preferred
- Extensive senior-level experience leading business development, partnerships, or content acquisition within media, entertainment, or adjacent industries
- Proven expertise negotiating high-value transactions and structuring complex, multi-party deals
- Strong financial acumen, including valuation, deal modeling, and P&L impact assessment
- Exceptional strategic judgment with the ability to quickly assess opportunities and risks
- Proven cross-functional leader with strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, mission-aligned conservative media environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively while maintaining a big-picture, strategic perspective
