About us

The group is part of the Road & Construction South department with over 40 employees in offices in Karlstad, Gothenburg, Jönköping, Växjö, Helsingborg, Karlskrona, and Malmö.

About the role

You will work as a technical lead in the environmental field with a focus on EIA for infrastructure projects. Our assignments vary in size, type, and customer category, with the Swedish Transport Administration as the largest customer.

As a technical lead, you will often have the role of environmental coordinator in large infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for environmental issues in the project and for preparing EIAs and other environmental documents for road plans, tender documents, and investigations in various types of projects for our customers.

In our assignments, you will collaborate with colleagues and experts across all disciplines and parts of WSP, where you together contribute your expertise to find future-proof solutions in infrastructure and community building. You will also work with competence development for our younger employees by leading them as mentors in projects.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant university education.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with EIA, preferably with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Good knowledge of GIS.
  • Experience in producing clear and pedagogical reports.
  • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English.
  • Experience in leading projects and coaching others.

As a person, you are meticulous, goal-oriented, and enjoy working independently. You like to collaborate and inspire others, and see the value in working in teams across national borders.
