What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Financial QA Editor to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, proofreading, and publishing financial content with accuracy and speed. You will work closely with contributors, editors, and cross-regional teams in the U.S., Israel, and India to ensure clarity, consistency, and timely publication of articles that provide valuable insights to our investor community.
What You'll Do
- Edit contributors’ articles for clarity and consistency, and publish them to the Seeking Alpha website within fast turnaround times
- Edit, proofread, and publish content on a range of subjects from market news, stocks, industry, economy, and finance to business and investing
- Ensure effective content management by organizing and tagging articles so that they are subscribed to by the appropriate stock tickers, sectors and themes
- Cover U.S. market hours, weekend shifts (8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Indian standard time, Thursday to Monday every week)
- Display strong editing, proofreading, publishing, and content management skills, and commitment to quality and timely deliverables
- Gain an in-depth understanding of Seeking Alpha’s content management system, working processes, and global editorial policies
- Contribute to the seamless global workflow on Seeking Alpha’s interactive website by being available to work in shifts in line with U.S., Israel, and India timings
Requirements
- At least three years of professional editorial experience with financial publications or websites, specifically covering stock market–related content
- Deep understanding of financial markets, with a strong focus on expanding knowledge of the U.S. stock markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with particular attention to grammar and clarity
- Strong eye for detail and a natural talent for proofreading
- Strong understanding of financial, investment, and business terminology
