Job Summary

Marvell Central Engineering (CE) develops advanced High-Speed SerDes (HSS) IPs for various applications. The Central System Engineering (CSE) team is responsible for validating these HSS IPs in lab environments and supporting business units for SoC production. As a Firmware Engineer Intern, you will design, develop, and verify new firmware features, deliver documentation and source code, and perform debugging, bring-up, and firmware automation tasks, collaborating with design and application teams.

Marvell Central Engineering (CE) develops Marvell most advanced High-Speed SerDes (HSS) IPs covering multiple applications, Switch, Automotive, Storage, Optics, etc. Acting as the engine to the company, Central Engineering provides the source of power to every business unit in Marvell system. Central System Engineering (CSE) in Central Engineering, independent of other CE functions including DSP algorithm development, circuit design, physical design, packaging, etc., is a function team responsible of validating all Marvell HSS IPs in the lab environment and supporting all Marvell business units for fast and smooth SoC production.

What We're Looking For

This position is eligible for 2026 RDSS (Research and Development Substitute Services) program. Please confirm your eligibility with local district office if you are interested in applying for this role.

  • Strong knowledge on microcontroller, experience with 8051 is a plus
  • Experience in embedded firmware design, development and debugging
  • Experience in C/C++ programming in an embedded environment
  • Experience in Python and Perl script programming
  • Experience with Jenkin is a plus
