Salesforce is seeking Lead and Principal Full Stack Software Engineers to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of high-impact features across its vast product landscape. This role involves leading technical teams, mentoring members, and delivering highly scalable products. Engineers will master and improve development processes, operate effectively in a hybrid model, and ensure quality through testing and automation. The position requires participation in on-call rotations to maintain service availability.
Must Have
- Lead technical teams, manage project timelines, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor and guide team members in coding, architecture, and agile methodologies.
- Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products.
- Master and improve development processes, culture, and codebase.
- Operate effectively in a hybrid engineering model.
- Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests.
- Participate in on-call rotation to address complex problems.
- 10+ years of Full Stack development experience.
- Demonstrated ownership and leadership of complex projects.
- Excellent object-oriented design skills with design patterns.
- Experienced in modern web technologies and web application development.
- Experienced with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experienced with Front End frameworks like React, Angular, Next.js.
- Experienced with Back End frameworks like Java, Node.js, Express, NestJS.
- Experience building scalable APIs and microservices.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and data model design.
- Ownership of the whole software development lifecycle, including CI/CD.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting software in production.
- Experience with automated E2E testing frameworks & unit test frameworks.
- Commitment to quality, stability, and performance.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.

- Experienced in building on top of the Salesforce Platform.
- Expertise in Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Conversant with Salesforce Platform features and best practices.

Service Cloud Team
Salesforce is looking for visionary Software Engineers to architect the next generation of Service Cloud AI, focusing on delivering autonomous, intelligent customer service solutions at scale. In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-driven features—from LLM integration and prompt strategy to building robust evaluation frameworks and execution workflows. As part of the role, you will:

- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address sophisticated problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available
Requirements
- 10+ years of Full Stack development experience
- Demonstrated ownership and leadership of complex projects
- Excellent object-oriented design skills anchored by experience applying design patterns
- Experienced in modern web technologies and web application development
- Experienced with JavaScript or TypeScript:
- Front End developments frameworks: React, Angular, Next.js etc
- Back End development frameworks: Java, Node.js, Express, NestJS etc
- A strong desire to learn technology and a polyglot attitude
- Experience building scalable APIs and microservices in an enterprise software environment
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. postgres) and the design of data models
- Ownership of the whole software development lifecycle, including:
- Service ownership experience with CI/CD approaches
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting software in production

The typical base salary range for this position is $184,000 - $306,600 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $200,800 - $334,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
