GL Accounting

This role involves overseeing the month-end closing process, ensuring completeness and accuracy across all trial balance areas. The successful candidate will supervise accounting activities to guarantee timely and precise financial reporting, enforce proper financial procedures, and ensure compliance with internal control protocols. Responsibilities also include conducting detailed reviews of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly P&L and Balance Sheet, preparing balance sheet schedules, analyzing P&L movements, and understanding month-over-month trial balance changes. Additionally, the role requires overseeing the publication of Power BI dashboards to leadership, highlighting monthly financial performance for assigned areas.

Must Have

• Must be a qualified CA / CA Inter cleared
• Must be proficient in Accounting standards both IndAS and IFRS and other regulatory requirements for financial reporting
• Must have organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with databases and the ability to summarize large volume of data

Your role

• Overseeing the month end closing process and ensure completeness and accuracy for all areas of the trial balance,
• Supervise the accounting activities to ensure timeliness and accurate accounting of all financial numbers.
• Ensure application of proper financial procedures and compliance to internal control procedures for all accounting activities
• Conduct detailed review of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly P&L and Balance Sheet. Prepare balance sheet schedule, P&L movements and understand the MoM movement in trial balance
• Oversee publication of Power BI dashboard to leadership highlighting the monthly financial performance for the areas allotted

Your profile
