Job Summary
Intel's Toronto design team is seeking a passionate and talented PEY Undergrad Intern for High Speed SerDes Logic Design. This role involves designing cutting-edge solutions, RTL coding for high-speed blocks, RTL simulations, and behavioral modeling of analog circuits. The intern will gain hands-on experience in digital design and analog circuit modeling, exploring innovative methodologies to optimize modeling using machine learning algorithms, and developing scripts to improve efficiency.
Must Have
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Science (Electrical and Computer), or Engineering Science (Machine Intelligence) or related field.
- Logic design and RTL coding for high-speed SerDes
- RTL simulation and verification
- Behavioral modeling of analog circuits
- Research and implement modeling optimization techniques using Machine Learning
- Develop scripts and design flows to improve efficiency
- Provide support for SoC integration
Good to Have
- Fundamental knowledge of electronics and digital hardware concepts
- Basic understanding of digital design practices, including RTL coding in Verilog and running/debugging simulations
- Familiarity with ASIC design flows for deep sub-micron technologies
- Strong scripting and/or software development skills
- Background in AI/ML

The Toronto design team is seeking passionate and talented individuals to help build the industry’s next-generation products, with a strong focus on high-speed SerDes technology.
This role centers on SerDes logic design. A key aspect of the SerDes digital design process includes RTL coding for high-speed blocks, RTL simulations, and behavioral modeling of analog circuits. In this unique position, you’ll gain hands-on experience in both digital design and analog circuit modeling, learning how to create accurate behavioral models. Additionally, you will explore innovative methodologies to optimize analog circuit modeling by leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms.

Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Science (Electrical and Computer), Engineering Science (Machine Intelligence)or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
