As a SAP consulting generalist, you will provide consulting services across SAP applications, analyzing client needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support. This role involves solving complex business issues from strategy to execution, focusing on integration delivery, migration, upgradation, architecture, governance, quality, and compliance within SAP CPI and S4HANA environments. You will collaborate with functional teams and ensure data security and privacy.

Must Have

• Design, build, and deploy iFlows in SAP CPI using various integration patterns.
• Implement mapping, error handling, retries, and alerting in SAP CPI.
• Migrate legacy integrations to SAP CPI with minimal downtime.
• Upgrade CPI artifacts to latest security and adapter standards.
• Define integration architecture and API-first design principles.
• Establish DevOps pipelines for CPI, including CI/CD and Git.
• Implement observability, alerting, and SLAs for integrations.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and penetration-hardening.
• Collaborate with functional teams, Basis/SecOps, and business owners.
• Prepare design documents, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Support hypercare for deployed integrations.
• Mandatory skills: SAP CPI/Integration Suite, S4HANA.
• Experience in Migration/Upgradation Projects.
• Required skill: SAP HANA Database Migration.

Job Description & Summary

you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Integration Delivery

1. Design, build, and deploy iFlows in SAP CPI (Process Integration Suite), using HTTP, SOAP, OData, SFTP, JDBC, IDoc, RFC, JMS, and event-driven patterns.

2. Implement mapping (XSLT, Message Mapping, Groovy scripts) and error handling, retries, and alerting.

• Migration & Upgradation

1. Assess and migrate legacy integrations (SAP PI/PO, Boomi, MuleSoft, custom) to SAP CPI with minimal downtime.

2. Upgrade CPI artifacts to latest adapters, libraries, policies, and security standards (OAuth2, TLS, JWT, SAML).

3. Remediate deprecated features, optimize performance, and replatform on Integration Suite where applicable (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).

• Architecture & Governance

1. Define integration architecture, canonical models, and API-first design principles.

2. Establish DevOps pipelines for CPI (transport management, CTS+, CI/CD, Git), versioning & release management.

3. Implement observability (logging, tracing, custom dashboards), alerting, and SLAs.

• Quality & Compliance

1. Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR) across integrations.

2. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and penetration-hardening for endpoints and adapters.

• Stakeholder Collaboration

1. Work closely with functional teams (FI/CO, MM/SD, HR, Procurement), Basis/SecOps, and business owners.

2. Prepare design documents, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials; support hypercare.
