Job Summary

Room 8 Group is seeking an Information Security Coordinator to uphold high security standards in game development projects. This role involves both organizational and technical aspects of Information Security, including ISMS support, client security assessments, and ensuring project security requirements are met. The coordinator will also gain hands-on experience with security systems like antimalware, EDR, DLP, MDM, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners, offering significant professional growth opportunities within the gaming industry.

Must Have

  • Experience as an Information Security/IT Administrator/Analyst/PM or similar
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher
  • General knowledge of information security standards and audit techniques (ISO 27001:2022)
  • General understanding of GDPR and privacy legislation
  • Experience in documentation development
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Good to Have

  • Experience with external security assessments/questionnaires
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in security awareness training development
  • Hands-on experience with antimalware, EDR, DLP, SIEM, MDM, etc.

Job Description

Room 8 Group is an end-to-end strategic partner in external game development. Working across all platforms, we provide creative and technical expertise across game development, technology, art, trailers, and QA for AAA and AA games.

Our Game Development team provides comprehensive co-dev and full-cycle dev solutions, across all platforms. We’ve helped make some of the biggest games of the past decade, like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and III, and we work with dozens of the world’s biggest publishers and developers.

Through primarily organic growth, we are proudly independent, now home to around 1,100 creatives based in Europe, North America, and South America.

We’re looking for an Information Security Coordinator to help maintain the highest security standards throughout cutting-edge game development projects.

In this role, you’ll work across both organizational and technical aspects of Information Security. Your responsibilities will include supporting ISMS-related activities, handling client security assessments, and collaborating with project teams to ensure all security requirements are fully met.

You will also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in administering and analyzing security systems such as antimalware, EDR, DLP, MDM, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and other protective technologies.
