This internship within Thales International's Operations Directorate involves joining a team supporting functions and operations across multiple countries. The mission is to enhance analysis and steering capabilities using modern visualization tools like Power BI and automation with Python. Key responsibilities include designing Power BI dashboards, automating data processing with Python, collaborating with business stakeholders, and documenting solutions.

WHO ARE YOU?

• You are pursuing a Master's degree in an engineering school, university master's (computer science, data science, statistics) or equivalent
• You have an aptitude for data analysis, business intelligence, or software development
• You have a good command of Power BI and Python software
• You have a good level of English and are comfortable communicating daily with the team, both orally and in writing
• You demonstrate rigour, autonomy, and organization
• You are curious and want to explore the opportunity of other technical solutions to build an end-to-end chain (selenium, typst…)

WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

Within the Operations Directorate of Thales International, you will join a team dedicated to supporting functions and operations in several countries. Your mission will contribute to strengthening our analysis and steering capabilities via modern visualization tools (Power BI) and automation (Python).

By joining us, your main missions will be:

Design and deploy Power BI dashboards:

• Structure data and its hosting
• Model complex datasets (Power Query, DAX)
• Create interactive and ergonomic visualizations for business users
• Optimize report performance (data source management, incremental refresh)

Automate data processing with Python:

• Develop scripts to clean, transform, and enrich data (Pandas, NumPy)
• Develop rule-based analyses to produce an “executive summary”
• Generate Powerpoint or PDF reports
• Integrate simple machine learning algorithms for exploratory analyses
• Automate data pipelines (e.g., extraction from APIs, SQL databases, Excel files)

Collaborate with functions and business stakeholders in various countries:

• Collect and formalize user needs (e.g., operations, finance, quality, etc.)
• Propose adapted solutions and train users on the tools developed

Document and industrialize solutions:

• Write technical and user guides
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes (best practices, data governance)
