INTERNSHIP – Engineer in deployment of Navigation software tools and front-end development F/h

Join the Signal & Dissemination department at Thales Alenia Space in Toulouse to standardize user experience for internal tools. You will design and develop graphical interfaces for a city simulator based on ray tracing algorithms, an antenna trajectory generator, and a 3D engine. Your role involves collaborating with the team to define functional needs, creating prototypes, documenting developments, and participating in deployment processes.

Your daily life

The Toulouse site is responsible for satellite system engineering, the design and production of payloads, as well as the development and qualification of ground segments. It integrates a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures.

By joining the Signal & Dissemination department of Thales Alenia Space in Toulouse, you will work on standardizing the user experience to make internal tools accessible to employees.

You will design and develop graphical interfaces for an urban simulator based on ray tracing algorithms, an antenna trajectory generator, and a 3D engine, while participating in the deployment of solutions to users.

Your main missions are:

• Design, develop, and optimize ergonomic and intuitive user interfaces with appropriate technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.),
• Collaborate with the team to define functional needs and expectations,
• Create prototypes and usage tests,
• Document completed developments,
• Reflect on deployment, maintenance, and distribution issues,
• Participate in setting up deployment processes (packaging, continuous integration, update management, etc.).

Your profile

Is your priority to complete an internship of 4 to 6 months?

Do you have the ambition to perfect your knowledge in software development and programming?

You are preparing an Engineering degree or an equivalent bac +4/+5 and you have experience in:

• infrastructure deployment and Front End
• C++/ Python and C programming
• software programming more broadly and UI design
• prototyping of scientific solutions

Are your rigor, your analytical and synthesis skills, as well as your proactive approach, recognized assets?
