Internship in Product Engineering

Cadence is seeking motivated students and recent graduates for a 6-month full-time internship in Product Engineering. This is a steppingstone to a great career, offering training in software products, Python programming, BETA API, and deeper knowledge in FEA/CFD solvers. Interns will participate in computational engineering projects, assist with technical documentation, and validate software products within an international team.

Must Have

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aeronautics/Aerospace Engineering, Marine Engineering, etc.
• Completed at least the 6th semester of studies or recently graduated (within the last 6 months)
• Good knowledge of speaking, reading, and writing in English

The timeframe

Internship Start Date: March/April 2026

The internship in Product Engineering Department

During your internship, you will:

• be a member of an international team
• get training and experience in our software products suite
• get training and experience in Python programming language and BETA API
• gain deeper knowledge in FEA and CFD solvers
• participate in short-term computational engineering and simulation projects, applying our company's products
• assist in writing technical documentation
• validate and verify our software products
• explore computational engineering applications
• automate or customize engineering processes within our software products
• receive peer reviews
• interact and share opinions with experienced professionals

The duration of the specific internship is 6 consecutive months, a period required for anyone to have proper training on our software, to have time to absorb the knowledge gained, to take part in projects to apply that knowledge, and experience our BETA-team family life.

The applicants

Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in relevant fields (Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aeronautics/Aerospace Engineering, Marine Engineering, etc.), towards the end of their studies (i.e. recommended to have completed at least the 6th semester), or graduates that have recently completed their degree (within the last 6 months at most).

Good knowledge of speaking, reading, and writing in English is required.

Fulfilled military obligations for male applicants is not a prerequisite.
