This role is for a Software Engineer specializing in IoT Camera technology in Hanoi. The primary responsibility involves providing direct support to OEMs for the design, development, and debugging of Qualcomm reference designs related to multimedia camera and Linux embedded systems. Candidates must quickly adapt to existing projects, understand software driver architecture, interpret technical specifications, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The engineer will collaborate closely with external customers to customize and launch new products, contributing to technological breakthroughs with inventiveness and passion.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience.
- 2+ years experience with Linux embedded software systems.
- 2+ years experience with debugging techniques.
- 2+ years experience with C, C++, Python programming languages.
- 2+ years experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Good to Have
- Strong background and hands-on experience in camera module and bring-up areas, including sensor, VCM, actuator, flash, and PLD gating drivers.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming within Linux embedded systems.
- Skills in software design, debugging techniques, problem-solving, and documentation.
- Experience in Multimedia software development for Linux-based embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build automation tools like Make.

General Summary:
We are looking for software engineer with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on Multimedia Camera, IoT and Linux embedded systems experience. Major responsibility is to provide direct support to OEMs with the design, development and debug of Qualcomm reference designs software related issues. Candidate must quickly assimilate onto an existing project, understanding software driver architecture, read technical specifications/requirements, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and work closely with external customers to customize and launch their new products. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
• 2+ years experience with Linux embedded software systems.
• 2+ years experience with debugging techniques.

Preferred Qualifications
