Job Summary
SoftwareOne and Crayon are seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst to support the registration, control, and lifecycle management of IT assets. This role ensures accurate asset tracking, CMDB updates, inventory integrity, and proper handling of equipment from storage to renewal, donation, or disposal. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable managing inventories and documentation, and thrive in environments where traceability, compliance, and data accuracy are critical.
Must Have
- Register, control, and track minor IT assets throughout their lifecycle
- Maintain and update the CMDB and ABC inventory reports
- Diagnose equipment in storage and perform secure data wiping
- Prepare devices for donation, destruction, or renewal processes
- Manage warranties and related documentation
- Coordinate and execute annual physical inventory counts
- Safeguard and manage documentation using SharePoint
- Package IT equipment for shipment
- Technical or Technologist degree in Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related fields
- Previous experience in IT asset management or technology inventory control
- Hands-on experience with inventory management tools and CMDB platforms
- Knowledge of warehouse processes and documentation control

What we need to see from you
