Lead System Administrator

VOKI Games is a mobile game development studio known for global hits like Manor Matters and Mystery Matters. We are looking for an experienced Lead System Administrator to manage a team, develop and support our distributed corporate infrastructure, automate processes, and enhance IT service desk operations. This role involves managing IT assets, software migration projects, and administering key collaboration platforms, all while implementing new security practices and collaborating with engineering teams to align infrastructure with business needs.

Must Have

• Manage a team of system administrators
• Plan, set, and control task implementation
• Develop and support distributed corporate infrastructure
• Automate routine processes for efficiency
• Manage full IT asset lifecycle
• Administer Google Workspace, Slack, Asana
• Improve IT service desk processes
• Implement new security technologies
• Collaborate with engineering teams
• Higher or secondary technical education
• Experience managing a team of 3-5 people
• Excellent knowledge of modern PC/laptop architecture and repair
• Familiarity with network principles and protocols
• Skills in system software installation/configuration
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of Windows Server, AD, GPO, WDS
• Experience with Windows, MacOS, Linux
• Knowledge of network infrastructure functioning
• Experience in automating routine infrastructure tasks

Good to Have

• Experience operating Wi-Fi networks
• Scripting language programming skills
• Familiarity with virtualization systems
• Understanding of modern AI models and their application in administration

What you will need to do:

• Manage a team of system administrators, develop cooperation and knowledge sharing
• Plan, set, and control the implementation of tasks
• Develop and support a distributed corporate infrastructure
• Automate routine processes to increase work efficiency
• Increase resource utilization efficiency
• Manage the full life cycle of IT assets (procurement, logistics, accounting, and inventory)
• Manage software separation and migration projects
• Administer key collaboration and productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, etc.)
• Improve IT service desk team processes for effective user support (onboarding, access management, offboarding)
• Implement new security technologies and practices to increase infrastructure reliability and user experience quality
• Collaborate with engineering teams to synchronize infrastructure with business needs

• Have higher or secondary technical education
• Have experience managing a team of 3-5 people
• Have excellent knowledge of modern PC and laptop architecture, minor repair skills
• Are familiar with the principles of building and functioning of local and global networks, telecommunication protocols
• Have skills in working with system software, its installation and configuration
• Are familiar with cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, etc.
• Understand how Windows Server, AD, GPO, WDS, and others work
• Have worked with main operating systems: Windows, MacOS, Linux
• Have knowledge of network infrastructure functioning
• Have experience in automating routine tasks within the infrastructure

Will be a plus:

• Experience operating Wi-Fi networks
• Ability to program in one of the scripting languages
• Familiarity with virtualization systems
• Understanding of modern AI models and practical skills in their application in administration
