Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our growing international team at Nordcurrent. This role is ideal for a proactive legal professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, providing comprehensive legal support across various business functions and taking ownership of legal processes in multiple jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with Lithuanian and EU laws, and supporting employment and migration matters. The successful candidate will have a law degree, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in Lithuanian and English.

Must Have

  • Provide legal support and consultation to internal teams on corporate, commercial, employment, GDPR, IP, IT, and general compliance matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents (local and international)
  • Support employment and migration processes for EU and non-EU employees, including confidentiality and non-competition matters
  • Conduct legal research and prepare analyses on various legal topics
  • Draft and maintain internal corporate and employment documents (policies, procedures, guidelines)
  • Coordinate legal matters with subsidiaries in different jurisdictions and liaise with external partners when needed
  • Monitor legal developments and ensure compliance with Lithuanian and EU regulatory requirements
  • University degree in Law
  • At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in commercial/IT/IP law
  • Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents
  • Solid understanding of key Lithuanian and EU laws governing business activities, including commercial, employment, data protection, and IP law
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English

  • Experience working in an international environment or cross-border teams
  • Knowledge of Russian
  • Experience within the IT or gaming industry

Salary: From 3300 EUR/month (gross), based on experience and competence.
