Job Summary

Quest Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 2nd shift, on-site position in Windsor Locks, CT. This role involves aerospace tool design, 3D printing fixtures, supporting assembly work instructions, hardware troubleshooting, and managing CAPEX projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 2+ years of experience, and skills in CNC machining, CAD/3D modeling, SAP/ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Must Have

What You Will Do:

  • Aerospace tool design and procurement
  • Design and 3d print fixtures to minimize cost and lead time versus traditional tooling
  • Order fixtures for non 3D print applications
  • Support assembly work instruction creation, edits, and implementation
  • Support hardware troubleshooting
  • Order equipment and support CAPEX projects
  • Support other projects related to shop transformation/capital project execution

What You Will Bring:

  • A Bachelor of Science in manufacturing or engineering discipline or a combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Additive manufacturing experience preferred
  • CNC machining experience
  • Fluent with mechanical CAD/3D modeling
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems
  • Experience working with shop floor operators and assemblers as well as engineering teams
  • Microsoft office suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 a year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered a second shift, on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
