Job Summary
Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. Responsibilities include assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic components, ensuring parts availability, and performing tests using specialized equipment to continuously improve processes.
Must Have
- Work hands-on in a cleanroom environment
- Build and test display and wafer fabrication equipment
- Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available and inspected for defects
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies
- Complete documentation, perform repairs, or install software to continuously improve processes
- Unload, unpack, and unbox heavy materials
- Check material items and quantities
- Classify and deliver materials according to assembly requirements and sequence
- Feed materials into the assembly site

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test our multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment that’s behind the technology we use every day. You'll be responsible for building, repairing, and testing various types of equipment--including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components. You will perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs-- and perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available and inspected for defects. Using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps you'll test assemblies, complete documentation, perform repairs, or install software to continuously improve our processes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Heavy material unloading, unpacking and unboxing
- Material item and quantity checking
- Material classification and delivery according to assembly requirements and assembly sequence
- Material feeding into the assembly site
- Basic English reading ability
- Basic computer use
- Forklift/crane license (at least one)
