Mobile Architect

Bounteous x Accolite is seeking an experienced Mobile Architect to lead the design and development of mobile applications. The role involves defining and maintaining architecture, leading innovation, providing technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile solutions. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize performance, implement security best practices, and contribute to pre-sales activities, leveraging deep understanding of mobile technologies and design patterns.

Must Have

• Define and maintain the architecture for mobile applications.
• Lead the charge in identifying and implementing innovative mobile technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, mentoring on coding standards and design patterns.
• Evaluate and recommend mobile frameworks and tools.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure high performance.
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect user data.
• Establish and enforce best practices for testing and code quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, APIs, and processes.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for pre-sales activities.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• 7+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• At least 2 years of experience in an architectural role.
• Proficient in mobile development platforms (iOS, Android) and programming languages (Swift, Kotlin, Java, React Native).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud integration.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, Xamarin).

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Architect to lead the design and development of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mobile technologies, design patterns, and best practices, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI designers, and developers, to create innovative mobile experiences.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Define and maintain the architecture for mobile applications, ensuring alignment with overall technology strategy and best practices.
• Innovation: Lead the charge in identifying and implementing innovative mobile technologies and solutions to enhance user experience and drive business value.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to development teams, mentoring on coding standards, design patterns, and mobile-specific issues.
• Framework Selection: Evaluate and recommend mobile frameworks and tools, balancing performance, usability, and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure applications meet high performance and responsiveness standards.
• Security Best Practices: Implement security measures and best practices to protect user data and enhance application integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce best practices for testing and code quality, including automated testing strategies.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, APIs, and processes.
• Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to contribute to pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, architecture discussions, and solution proposals to potential clients.
• Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying new knowledge to improve mobile architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2 years in an architectural role.
• React native is mandatory for the project needs
• Proficient in mobile development platforms (iOS, Android) and programming languages (Swift, Kotlin, Java, React Native, etc).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud integration.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, Xamarin) is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
