ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our dynamic team of NOC engineers dedicated to providing 24x7 monitoring for all our systems to ensure the best gaming experience for our customers. In addition to monitoring, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal service quality.
We look into automation to streamline our processes and continuously seek ways to enhance our systems and stay on top of technology. This role includes a highly attractive and competitive shift allowance.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
● Proactive monitoring and support of the production and non-production environments.
● Detect, analyse and respond to systems and security incidents.
● Maintain and suggest improvements to the incident and problem processes.
● Acts as a focal point for outages until restoration, facilitating communication with stakeholders as necessary.
● Maintain, escalate and update NOC related tickets whilst making sure that new and updated existing knowledge base articles are documented.
● Deliver on KPI’s set internally as well as adhere to SLA’s with regard to service delivery to other departments.
● Automating processes to make our tasks more efficient.
● Using ITIL Best Practice to handle service requests, incidents and change requests.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
● Knowledge of networking essentials.
● Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
● Experience in working with monitoring tools.
● Knowledge of automation tools.
● Experience working with cloud platforms.
● Knowledge of DNS & SSL Termination and domain management.
● Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts
