The Central Engineering group at Marvell seeks a Packaging EDA Automations Manager to lead and mentor a team of development engineers. This role involves defining team objectives, driving technical strategy for automation flows and EDA methodologies in advanced packaging, and overseeing the evaluation and deployment of new tools. The manager will collaborate globally with cross-functional teams to align CAD solutions with technology roadmaps and ensure operational excellence by monitoring project progress and optimizing workflows.

Must Have

• Manage and mentor a team of development engineers.
• Define team objectives, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership team to form the technical direction of automation flows and EDA methodologies in advanced packaging.
• Oversee evaluation and deployment of new Marvell custom/internal tools.
• Oversee evaluation and deployment of new tools and technologies with vendors.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align CAD solutions with technology roadmaps.
• Represent the team in internal technical forums and strategic planning discussions.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and optimize Packaging EDA automations workflows for scalability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong technical foundation in automation development (Python, scripting).
• Strong technical foundation in EDA tools for PCB/Package design (Cadence, Ansys, Keysight, etc.).
• Proven experience in team leadership or technical project management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with proprietary EDA languages (SKILL, AEL) and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of signal/power integrity and hardware design methodologies.

Good to Have

• Understanding of advanced packaging technologies (e.g., 2.5D CoWoS) and design flows.
• Experience working with global teams and external vendors.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
