Job Summary

Side is seeking a Player Support Specialist (Japanese) to provide customer service and support to players via chat and email, including password resets. The role involves supporting, evaluating, and monitoring customer service operations, analyzing results, and implementing changes. This is a contract position with shift-based working hours (11:00-20:00 / 12:00-21:00), 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, including 365-day support on weekends and holidays. The position is remote, based in Yotsuya, Tokyo, Japan.

Must Have

  • Support, evaluate, monitor customer service operations, analyze results, and implement changes.
  • Respond to and support player issues via chat and email, including password resets.
  • Work hours: Shift system - 11:00-20:00 / 12:00-21:00 - 40 hours/week, 5 days/week.
  • 365-day support including weekends and holidays (shift work).

Good to Have

  • Translation and/or localization experience is desirable
  • Customer service (if any) and/or experience in video games, travel support, help desk, technical support (in an email contact center environment)

  • Perform language translation and proofreading (JP-EN, EN-JP) as needed.
  • Respond to and support player issues via chat and email, including but not limited to password resets.
  • Working hours: Shift system - 11:00-20:00 / 12:00-21:00 - 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.
  • 365-day support including weekends and holidays (shift work).
