SGS, a global leader in inspection and certification, is seeking a Civil Electrical Engineer or Electrical Execution Engineer for a Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Supervisor role for PV&BESS facilities. The position requires at least 3 years of experience in renewable generation or storage projects, with expertise in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization of photovoltaic plants and BESS. Responsibilities include supervising cold and hot commissioning, SAT tests, coordinating with contractors, and preparing technical reports. The role is full-time and based in Tal-tal and Colina, with a 10x5 shift.

Must Have

• Civil Electrical Engineer or Electrical Execution Engineer
• 3+ years experience in renewable generation or Utility Scale/PMG/PMGD storage projects
• Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization of PV plants, BESS, and auxiliary systems
• Certifications: NFPA 70E, SEC Class A, Class B driver's license
• Knowledge of international and national regulations
• Competence in supervising cold/hot commissioning and SAT tests (inverters, transformers, BESS, PV modules)
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and owner
• Ability to prepare technical and contractual reports
• Native Spanish and intermediate-advanced technical English (B2)

Requirements:

• Must have experience greater than or equal to 3 years in renewable generation or Utility Scale or PMG/PMGD storage projects.
• Must have participated in pre-commissioning, commissioning and energization activities of photovoltaic plants, BESS and auxiliary systems.
• Must have certifications and training in NFPA 70E, SEC Class A and Class B driver's license.
• Must have knowledge of applicable international and national regulations.
• Must have competencies in supervising cold and hot commissioning processes, supervising SAT tests of inverters, transformers, BESS, photovoltaic modules, etc.
• Must coordinate activities with contractors, vendors and owner.
• Must prepare technical and contractual reports.
• Must have native Spanish and intermediate-advanced technical English (B2) proficiency.
