Our teams of digital nomads live and work remotely from Cyprus, Malta, the USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Poland, Israel, Turkey, Latvia and many others.

We are looking for a Product Manager (NLP) for one of our investment products.

ML Team Objective: To improve the business performance of the product by enhancing the co-pilot system in user dialogues and the generative models underpinning it. The responses generated by the bot should be optimized for relevance, the likelihood of continuing the dialogue, and the potential to increase the average transaction value.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Manage a team of ML engineers and improve the architecture of ML services to achieve business goals;
  • Develop and implement a strategy for the NLP direction;
  • Break down business tasks into sub-tasks and determine the necessary resources for their end-to-end execution;
  • Lead and oversee the following tasks:
    • Create and integrate necessary ML models into the overall system;
    • Test and evaluate the created solutions;
    • Optimize model training;
    • Improve the system of automated tests and criteria for evaluating new models;
    • Collect and prepare data needed for model training.

We expect from you:

  • Experience as an NLP Engineer in the past or present;
  • Ability to fine-tune open LLMs, with experience in this or leading a team that does;
  • Practical experience with basic NLP concepts (ngrams, skip-grams, tf-idf, etc.);
  • Experience in developing components for dialogue systems, either directly or by leading a team working on this;
  • Experience managing an ML team.

We hope you have the following knowledge:

  • Understanding of mathematical algorithms for machine learning, main types of models, and criteria for evaluating their performance;
  • Practical experience in developing and deploying microservices;
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, Pandas, Matplotlib, Numpy, Scipy, Sklearn);
  • Knowledge of the PyTorch Deep Learning framework;
  • Confident use of OS Linux/Unix and version control systems like git;
  • Ability to independently build a pipeline;
  • Understanding of how ONNX works;
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases;
  • Experience fine-tuning GPT-like models;
  • Experience using GloVe, ELMo, RNN, CNN, Transformer, BERT;
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Docker, etc.);
  • Experience with deepspeed/Jax;
  • Courses like ODS, MIPT+Huawei will be an advantage.
