Program Manager, Supplier Ecosystem

Micron Technology is seeking a Program Manager, Supplier Ecosystem to innovate memory and storage solutions. This role involves co-developing governance policies for Supplier Performance Management (SPM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), ensuring compliance with procurement strategies, and integrating governance into operational workflows. Key tasks include coordinating Annual Supplier Evaluations, analyzing performance data, and conducting program health checks. The manager will also support New York local business spend compliance and tactical supplier enablement for autonomous sourcing platforms, driving supplier adoption and improving responsiveness.

Must Have

• Co-develop governance policies, procedures, and frameworks for SPM and SRM.
• Ensure governance models integrate with performance and relationship initiatives.
• Partner with category managers, process teams, and GP leaders.
• Establish compliance checkpoints, escalation protocols, and remediation workflows.
• Coordinate Annual Supplier Evaluations (ASEs), including scorecard preparation.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct program health checks and gap analyses.
• Maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders.
• Support design and execution of validation processes for NY businesses.
• Assist in internal audits and documentation for NYS ESD requirements.
• Collaborate with legal and government affairs teams for compliance.
• Ensure accurate reporting of local spend and certification status.
• Provide tactical support for supplier onboarding on autonomous sourcing platforms.
• Partner with process teams to resolve supplier engagement gaps.
• Assist in change management and training for autonomous sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Performance & Relationship Governance

• Co-develop governance policies, procedures, and frameworks for SPM and SRM in alignment with Micron’s global procurement strategy.
• Work closely with SRM and SPM Program Managers to ensure governance models integrate seamlessly with performance and relationship initiatives.
• Partner with category managers, process teams, and GP leaders to embed governance practices into operational workflows across regions and categories.
• Establish compliance checkpoints, escalation protocols, and remediation workflows to ensure adherence to governance standards.
• Coordinate Annual Supplier Evaluations (ASEs), including scorecard preparation, stakeholder engagement, and post-evaluation action tracking.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities; provide recommendations for governance enhancements.
• Conduct program health checks and gap analyses to ensure governance effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely execution of governance initiatives.

New York Local Business Spend Compliance

• Support the design and execution of validation processes to confirm supplier eligibility as New York businesses.
• Assist in internal audits and documentation to meet NYS ESD requirements and safeguard Green CHIPS funding eligibility.
• Collaborate with legal and government affairs teams to maintain audit readiness and mitigate compliance risks.
• Ensure accurate reporting of local spend and certification status for program transparency.

Autonomous Sourcing Supplier Enablement

• Provide tactical support for supplier onboarding and registration on autonomous sourcing platforms.
• Partner with process teams to identify and resolve supplier engagement gaps and improve responsiveness.
• Assist in change management and training activities to drive supplier adoption of autonomous sourcing workflows.
