Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead complex software and service delivery projects for global telecom carriers and law enforcement agencies. This role requires strong project management expertise, technical understanding in networking/telecom, large system environments, and the ability to drive complex programs to successful customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
- Lead cross-functional project teams in the successful deployment, integration, and acceptance of software products and services at customer locations worldwide.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans with clearly defined responsibilities.
- Identify and monitor project risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Manage the requirements lifecycle and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Create and manage project acceptance test plans based on deliverables.
- Control project scope and manage change requests.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions and follow up on action items.
- Support internal process improvements and initiatives.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct project meetings and maintain transparent communication on risks, actions, and status.
- Establish and drive tasks required for successful and timely project completion
- Review project Statements of Work prior to contract award.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide management reports on a regular basis
Required Competencies & Skills
- Structured, logical, and well-organized with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive them to successful completion.
- Strong technical understanding of product installations, integrations and issue resolution.
- Analytical skills to address complex problems and dependencies.
- Knowledge of complex network environments and telecom provider functions.
- Experience with documentation processes and tools.
- Effective communication across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work with global virtual teams.
- Understanding of the global carrier market and competitive landscape.
- Technical experience with Broadband IP, VoLTE, GSM, LTE, 5G, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and networking technologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required; existing clearance preferred.
- Up to 40% travel may be required, depending on project phase (US or international).
Experience & Education:
- U.S. security clearance required or ability to obtain one.
- BA/BS degree; technology-related field preferred.
- 5+ years managing large-scale projects.
- Experience with telco network interception and mediation technologies is a plus.
- Experience with network-based Location Based Services is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience working with telecom carriers and/or law enforcement agencies in project management or technical roles.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish or Arabic) is a plus.
- Formal training in Project Management and/or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce is beneficial.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
