R&D Architect

• Work with product management to translate business requirements into technical design documents, and work closely with various R&D teams to implement software according to technological standards and best practices
• Responsibility for the overall architecture of various products in the following domains: common infra and services, big data pipelines, databases (SQL and NoSQL), data lake and data warehouse, BI & DevOps
• Responsibility for seamless integrations with Moon Active game studios
• Research tools and technologies, lead technological enhancements across the product
• Mentor tech leads and software engineers

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering (M.Sc. an advantage)
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in backend, data-driven applications
• 3+ years as a Software Architect for distributed, high-scale, data driven SaaS products
• Significant experience with scalability, robustness, high availability and disaster recovery
• Significant AWS / GCP experience with knowledge of service internals and best practices, design to cost and optimal usage of cloud resources and services
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and IaC
• Significant experience with various databases (SQL and NoSQL), data lakes, data warehouses, data streaming pipelines and data processing for BI/Analytics/Data Science
• Excellent technical documentation, presentation and communication skills, ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and simply
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to engage others and collaborate with many interfaces
• Highly strategic with analytical thinking and a strong business understanding
