Application Consultants at Capgemini understand client business processes, current and future, mapping them to technologies. They identify what can be achieved through standard implementation versus what requires customizations or extensions. They may functionally customize applications, partner with developers for enhancements, and work with business users for process changes. Consultants are expected to learn and develop technical skills and core consulting behaviors, primarily an appropriate methodology and knowledge of a business domain and a Package Based Solution. They should demonstrate flexibility, manage workload, and update management on task progress, working towards or having achieved certification on Saas or Package Based solution and relevant methodology.
