Job Summary

This SDE II role at CSG involves designing, developing, and enhancing features for SingleView Billing & Charging and ONLINE RATING applications, with a strong focus on the SingleView Configuration layer / EPM. The engineer will analyze business requirements, write efficient code, perform unit testing, support system and UAT testing, and debug complex production issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing technical guidance to SDE-1 engineers are also key aspects. The role requires adherence to coding standards, performance, and security guidelines, contributing to CSG's mission of empowering companies to build unforgettable experiences.

Must Have

  • Design, develop, and enhance features in SingleView Billing & Charging applications, ONLINE RATING
  • Work extensively on SingleView Configuration layer / EPM
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
  • Perform unit testing, support system & UAT testing, and fix defects
  • Debug complex production and non-production issues with minimal supervision
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (L2/L3 support, QA, Business)
  • Assist SDE-1 engineers through technical guidance and reviews
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance, and security guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in SingleView Telecom Billing & Charging
  • Strong experience in SingleView Configuration / EPM
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Perl, Java
  • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle preferred)
  • Proficiency in XML / Shell scripting/SOAP API//PERL scripting
  • Good understanding of Telecom billing concepts (rating, invoicing, collections)
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments
  • Ability to work independently on assigned modules
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills

  • Experience working in L3 shared services / multi-project environments

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in SingleView Configuration / EPM.
  • Proficiency in one or more:
  • C, C++, Perl, Java
  • SQL (Oracle preferred)
  • XML / Shell scripting/SOAP API//PERL scripting
  • Good understanding of:
  • Telecom billing concepts (rating, invoicing, collections),
  • Unix/Linux environments
