Job Summary
WebMD, an Internet Brands Company, is seeking an SDET to join their team in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role involves active participation in agile development, analyzing QA requirements, coordinating testing activities across multiple teams, and creating/reviewing test cases. The SDET will also be responsible for identifying and reporting issues, assisting developers with analysis, and verifying bug fixes, adhering to the defect lifecycle. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience and a B.E. in Computer Science/IT.
Must Have
- Minimum 3+ years of software development experience in Agile quality organizations and/or project management
- Experience in delivering SaaS systems/platforms, modern Javascript applications, or other web-based products
- Experience in contributing to agile development teams, and driving agile quality processes
- Understanding of web browsers, servers, security, APIs and Performance
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/CD
- Able to code proficiently in a modern development language
- Involve actively in daily stand ups and planning meetings
- Analyzing and understanding the QA task requirements independently
- Coordinating testing activities with multiple teams at different locations
- Creating and reviewing test cases and scripts to ensure coverage based on the requirements
- Identifying issues and generating issue reports
- Assisting developers for issue analysis
- Verification of bug fixes and patches
- Adhering to the defect lifecycle and its timelines
