Senior Accountant

Gameloft is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Saigon studio. This role involves comprehensive tax compliance, including VAT, FCT, PIT, and CIT filings, e-invoicing, and tax audits. The successful candidate will also manage the full fixed assets lifecycle, perform monthly financial closings, oversee banking operations, and contribute to accounting process improvements and training. The position requires supporting statutory and internal reporting, legal documentation, and audit processes.

Must Have

• Handle end-to-end tax compliance (VAT/FCT/PIT/CIT filings, e-invoicing, payments, audits, refunds).
• Conduct tax research, support tax planning, and liaise with tax authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage fixed assets lifecycle (additions, depreciation, disposals, inventory, VAS/IFRS reconciliation).
• Perform monthly closing tasks (provisioning, accruals, account listings, reporting).
• Oversee banking operations (payments, credit card management, FX rate updates).
• Review and update accounting processes, and provide training to local teams.
• Prepare statutory and internal reports, manage legal documentation, and support auditors.

Main responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end tax compliance including VAT/FCT/PIT/CIT filings, e-invoicing, tax payments, audits, and VAT refunds.
• Conduct tax research, support tax planning initiatives, and liaise with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Manage fixed assets lifecycle: additions, depreciation, disposals, annual inventory, and VAS/IFRS reconciliation.
• Perform monthly closing tasks such as provisioning, accrual runs, detailed account listings, and reporting submissions.
• Oversee banking operations with HSBC, including payments, credit card management, and daily FX rate updates.
• Review and update accounting processes, and provide training on new processes to local teams.
• Prepare statutory and internal reports, manage legal documentation, support auditors, and handle various ad-hoc tasks.
