As a fire consultant at AFRY, you will be a key player in the development of innovative fire safety solutions and fire strategies. You will have a role that combines technical expertise with professional leadership and close interdisciplinary collaboration. About the tasks

In our Fire department, we work with everything from pure fire projects to complex, interdisciplinary projects in all fire classes. You will be part of an experienced team of 12 skilled fire consultants with between 5 and 25 years of experience, distributed across our offices in Herning, Herlev, and Aarhus. With us, you get both professional sparring and freedom to set the direction for projects – as well as the opportunity to bring your expertise into play and follow projects from start to finish.

In your daily work, you will, among other things, work with:

• developing fire strategies and fire technical documentation that ensures quality and compliance with applicable standards
• advising in all project phases, from the first design sketches to final operation
• creating close dialogue and coordinating with clients, partners, and colleagues to ensure optimal solutions
• contributing to strong interdisciplinary collaboration, where we focus on efficient project execution and high quality
• solving a wide range of tasks – from pure fire projects to complex, interdisciplinary projects in all fire classes
• handling project management tasks (PL) on smaller projects, where you get responsibility and the opportunity to influence the process.

Qualifications

We are looking for a fire consultant with experience in project management who:

• has at least 5 years of experience with fire consulting in all fire classes from a project-oriented company.
• is accustomed to handling deviations from pre-accepted solutions
• has a background as an engineer, construction architect or similar.
• it is an advantage if you are certified, hold a CFPA or a Master in Fire Safety, but it is not a requirement, as we value experience most.
• it is a plus if you have experience with heavier industrial projects and/or fire technical dimensioning.

To thrive in the role, you must be a self-driven fire consultant with good collaboration skills. You must have a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to work and a solid project understanding.
