Job Summary
Kforce is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work with managers and stakeholders to identify, create, and monitor reports and key business metrics. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying business intelligence applications, dashboards, and reports. The role involves supporting and troubleshooting existing financial/operational business analytics, ensuring high-quality data analytics, and performing ad-hoc projects and research. The analyst will also develop and support requirements for predictive and analytical models, communicate progress, and maintain confidentiality.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree or related experience
- 8 - 10 years of experience in data analysis
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases and data warehouses
- Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau and writing DAX measures
- Experience in writing MDX queries and customizing Cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
Good to Have
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft SQL & SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Data Warehousing, and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) Business Intelligence technology

Description
Works with the manager and stakeholders to identify, create, and monitor various reports and key business metrics.
Responsible for the design, documentation, development, testing, and deployment of various business intelligence and planning applications, dashboards, and reports in support of the business.
Help to support, troubleshoot, and maintain existing Financial/Operational business analytics.
Ensures that all data analytics produced for internal and external stakeholders are of the highest quality, consistent, and completed on time.
Performs ad-hoc projects, research, and analysis in support of key stakeholders.
Develops or supports creating requirements, identifies predictive and analytical models for accuracy and reasonableness, and leverages output to bring strategic value to the organization.
Reviews and implements technical processes to attain predictive and analytical models.
Regularly communicates issues or progress to the Manager.
Creates appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process.
Ensures ongoing implementation and monitoring of corporate data risk and compliance procedures.
Act as subject matter expert for Business Intelligence in support of all business applications.
Maintains confidentiality of information processed as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related experience
- 8 - 10 years of experience in data analysis
- Advanced knowledge in the following Report writing Tools is preferred: Microsoft SQL & SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Data Warehousing, and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) Business Intelligence technology
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
- Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau and writing DAX measures
- Good experience in writing MDX queries while creating and customizing Cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement changes to processes or procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle deadlines and shifting priorities
