NXP is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to provide technical support and solution optimization for new energy vehicle electrification applications in the Anhui region. This role involves supporting NXP’s BMS chip solutions, delivering on-site assistance for hardware and software issues, and collaborating with customer R&D teams for design guidance and debugging. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience in automotive electronics, and expertise in circuit design, EMC/EMI, and functional safety.

Must Have

  • Provide technical support for new energy vehicle electrification applications
  • Support NXP’s BMS chip solutions (AFE MC3377x, BMx7x18, Gateway MC3366x, BMx6x02)
  • Deliver on-site assistance for customer hardware and software issues
  • Collaborate with customer R&D for design guidance and debugging
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in automotive electronics or power systems
  • Skilled in analog and digital circuit design, schematic, and PCB layout
  • Experienced in EMC/EMI rectification and troubleshooting
  • Knowledgeable in ISO26262 functional safety processes and requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with MCU development and system-level hardware/software integration

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and solution optimization for new energy vehicle electrification applications in the Anhui region, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Functional Safety, and EMC troubleshooting.
  • Support NXP’s BMS chip solutions, including AFE MC3377x, BMx7x18, Gateway MC3366x, BMx6x02, and next-generation devices.
  • Deliver on-site assistance to resolve customer hardware and software issues during development and mass production phases.
  • Collaborate with customer R&D teams to provide design guidance, debugging support, and ensure successful design-in and mass production.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in automotive electronics or power systems; experience with BMS preferred.
  • Skilled in analog and digital circuit design; proficient in schematic design and multi-layer PCB layout.
  • Experienced in EMC/EMI rectification and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledgeable in ISO26262 functional safety processes and requirements; able to assist customers in achieving compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with customer engineering teams.
  • Familiar with MCU development and system-level hardware/software integration; experience with AUTOSAR software development is a plus.
