Senior Scrum Master

CodeNinja is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead agile delivery and drive continuous improvement for high-impact software initiatives. The role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams on Agile best practices, removing impediments, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment. A key aspect is leveraging AI tools and agents to automate delivery operations, enhance efficiency, and accelerate productivity across multiple squads.

Must Have

• Lead Agile delivery across multiple squads
• Facilitate end-to-end Scrum ceremonies

• Coach and mentor teams and leadership on Agile best practices (Scrum & Kanban)
• Remove impediments and manage delivery risks

• Drive AI-enabled operational efficiency using AI tools/agents
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead
• Experience in software development / digital transformation / product delivery environments
• Strong understanding of SDLC and engineering workflows
• Proven track record of shipping complex software projects
• Demonstrated hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and AI agents

About the Role

We are looking for Senior Scrum Master, responsible for leading agile delivery and driving continuous improvement across high-impact software initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong agile leadership, deep SDLC understanding, and proven experience delivering complex products while enabling high-performing cross-functional teams. This position also requires hands-on AI experience, with the ability to leverage AI tools and AI agents to automate delivery operations, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery across multiple squads by facilitating end-to-end Scrum ceremonies, driving execution discipline, and ensuring predictable delivery of complex software initiatives.
• Coach and mentor teams and leadership on Agile best practices (Scrum & Kanban), enabling continuous improvement, self-organization, and high-performance team maturity.
• Remove impediments and manage delivery risks by proactively addressing dependencies, resolving blockers, and improving cross-functional collaboration to accelerate outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to ensure sprint goals align with strategic priorities, strengthen delivery governance, and enable measurable value delivery.
• Drive AI-enabled operational efficiency by leveraging AI tools/agents to automate repetitive delivery workflows (e.g., reporting, sprint analytics, backlog hygiene, insights), improving productivity and supporting Tier 3 & Tier 4 scaling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional certification).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead, leading agile transformations, coaching teams, and driving maturity across multiple squads or complex programs.
• Experience working in software development / digital transformation / product delivery environments, with a strong understanding of the SDLC and engineering workflows.
• Proven track record of shipping complex software projects, managing dependencies, driving accountability, and delivering measurable business outcomes through agile practices.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and AI agents to drive automation, operational efficiency, and AI-enabled leadership
