Job Summary
This Senior Staff Engineer Product role at Infineon involves leading complex Design and Process FMEAs, solving yield and quality issues, and interfacing with customers. Must Have
- Manage and coordinate highly complex Design and Process FMEAs.
- Lead large, multicultural teams across various time zones.
- Solve yield and quality problems pre and post-production.
- Interface with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues.
- Drive design for test and manufacturability.
- Drive quality improvement through PPM reduction.
- Drive corner lot planning, characterization, and qualification testing.
- Monitor new product design reliability testing and perform interval shift analysis.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with Power Modules.
- Proven track record in product engineering, FMEA moderator, and failure analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of power electronic products and processes.
- Fundamental understanding of product design implementation.
- Knowledge of silicon device fabrication process and final electrical testing.
- Understanding of semiconductor material properties and their influence on device behavior.
- Ability to understand applications conditions and product performance parameters.
- Proven experience with PJM and FMEA moderator methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and interface with global teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong project ownership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Experience with Mentor/Galaxy Examinator data analysis tools.
- Experience with JMP data analysis tools.

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- FMEA Moderator Role – Manage and coordinate highly complex Design and Process FMEAs while leading large, multicultural teams across various time zones.
- Work closely with the engineering design team to solve yield and quality problems, pre and post-production
- Interface with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues requiring in depth product knowledge
- Drive design for test and manufacturability, and quality improvement through PPM reduction
- Drive corner lot planning including characterization and qualification testing
- Monitor new product design reliability testing, perform interval shift analysis
- Some overseas travel may be required for training, product transfers and release.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- BSEE, or equivalent years of experience
- Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on Power Modules. Proven track record in product engineering, FMEA moderator and failure analysis
- In depth knowledge of power electronic products and processes
- Fundamental understanding of product design implementation
- Knowledge of silicon device fabrication process, including final electrical testing and their impact on power device performance
- Understanding of semiconductor material properties and their influence on semiconductor device behavior
- Ability to understand applications conditions, and how that may conflict with product performance parameters
- Experience with Mentor/Galaxy Examinator and JMP data analysis tools is strongly desired
- Proven experience with PJM and FMEA moderator methodologies
- Ability to demonstrate great attention to detail
- Proven self-starter
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and interface with global teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong project ownership, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities; comfortable representing PRE topics in high-level discussions

Andover, MA and Warwick, RI Minimum of $ 119,300 per year and maximum of $ 131,200 per year.
