Senior VMWare (NSX-T / VCF) Network Architect

We’re partnering with a leading industry company to find a talented Senior NSX-T / VCF Network Architect. This opportunity is remote within the region and offers a chance to support a challenging architecture project on a temporary basis, lasting between 10 and 26 weeks + extension. Candidates should have extensive experience in NSX-T architecture and enterprise-scale VMware Cloud Foundation delivery. The role involves developing NSX-T networking solutions, implementing NSX Edge Nodes, coordinating network integration, leading migration planning, and generating comprehensive architecture diagrams and documentation.

Must Have

• Develop NSX-T networking solutions for VMware Cloud Foundation
• Create and implement NSX Edge Nodes
• Ensure high availability and manage network connectivity
• Coordinate integration of physical and virtual networking components
• Lead migration planning and execution for MPLS Point-to-Point connections
• Generate comprehensive architecture diagrams and documentation
• Proven expertise in NSX-T architecture in large enterprise environments
• Experience delivering VMware Cloud Foundation at an enterprise level
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols and physical network infrastructure
• Ability to design, document, and communicate complex network architectures

Good to Have

• Certifications such as VCP-NV, VCAP-NV, VCIX-NV, or VCF Specialist

Senior NSX-T / VCF Network Architect Responsibilities:

• Develop NSX-T networking solutions for VMware Cloud Foundation, focusing on routing, security, and tier-0/tier-1 design.
• Create and implement NSX Edge Nodes, ensure high availability, and manage connectivity between networks.
• Coordinate the integration of physical and virtual networking components, including ToR switches and VLANs.
• Lead migration planning and execution for MPLS Point-to-Point connections for seamless cutovers.
• Generate comprehensive architecture diagrams and maintain clear documentation.

Senior NSX-T / VCF Network Architect Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in NSX-T architecture within large enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering VMware Cloud Foundation at an enterprise level.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols and physical network infrastructure.
• Certifications such as VCP-NV, VCAP-NV, VCIX-NV, or VCF Specialist are preferred.
• Ability to design, document, and communicate complex network architectures.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
