Job Summary

As an IT Service Desk Iberica, you will provide comprehensive IT support by resolving technical issues, delivering first and second-level support, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring optimal workstation performance. You will also collaborate in national and international projects. Your typical day will involve hands-on support for hardware, software, and IT services, troubleshooting IT tickets, maintaining documentation, supporting antivirus and SCCM rollouts, assisting with IT integration, managing PC lifecycle tasks, configuring devices, monitoring IT systems, procuring hardware/software, and delivering on-site support.

Must Have

  • Provide comprehensive IT support (1st & 2nd level)
  • Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot IT tickets
  • Maintain IT hardware, software, and workstation performance
  • Manage PC lifecycle tasks (setup, refresh, disposal)
  • Configure and maintain IT devices (phones, printers, scanners)
  • Support antivirus and SCCM rollouts
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and inventory
  • Collaborate on national and international IT projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • 3+ years of IT experience
  • Proficiency in Windows 7/10/11 administration
  • Strong TCP/IP and networking knowledge
  • Professional PC Desktop/Laptop hardware knowledge
  • Experience with Audio/Video equipment support
  • Professional English and Spanish language skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Spanish Wabtec sites
  • Legal authorization to work in the EU

Who will you be working with?

Wabtec is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for the freight and transit rail sectors. You will work in the IT department, providing comprehensive IT support to Spanish sites.

How will you make a difference?

As an IT Service Desk Iberica you will be responsible to provide comprehensive IT support by resolving technical issues, delivering first and second-level support, maintaining hardware and software and ensuring optimal workstation performance. You’ll also collaborate in national and international projects.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and IT services in line with SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT tickets using critical thinking and standard procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and inventory.
  • Support antivirus and SCCM rollouts to enhance system security.
  • Assist with IT integration during acquisitions.
  • Manage PC lifecycle tasks: setup, refresh, disposal, and more.
  • Configure and maintain phones, printers, scanners, and other devices.
  • Monitor IT systems and resolve incident backlogs with root cause analysis.
  • Procure hardware/software and ensure proper approvals.
  • Deliver on-site support when needed.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
  • +3 years of experience in related IT roles
  • Windows 7/10/11 user and administrator knowledge/experience (Proven MS Certifications\trainings)
  • Proven TCP/IP and networking knowledge and work experience (ICND1)
  • PC Desktop/Laptop hardware knowledge at professional level
  • Audio/Video equipment support experience
  • Professional English and Spanish knowledge
  • Team player and able to work in an international environment
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Customer oriented and ability to work with different stakeholders

Availability to travel occasionally to Wabtec Sites in Spain.
